THE final COURSE!

The Final Course is a tailored end-of-life and death care planning gathering, part dinner party or afternoon tea, part practical workshop, held in the comfort of your own home.

Facilitated by Joh Nyx, this two-and-a-half-hour session gently guides you and your guests through meaningful conversations about your end-of-life wishes, while offering clear, practical support to get important planning underway.

Together we will:

-Receive clear guidance to begin (or update) essential end of life documents including your Advance Care Directive and appointing key decision makers

  1. -Map out your values and views around death care to help you make informed choices about funerals and body disposition.

  2. -Learn about current options, rights and resources in Victoria for funerals, memorials and after death care

  3. -Be supported with information and referrals to update or begin your Will, including and common pitfalls to avoid

  4. -End the session with a shared action plan and agreed timelines, building accountability and support within your group

  5. Each participant will also receive:

  6. -Printed and/or digital access to all relevant forms and helpful guides

  7. -A custom Funeral and Body Wishes document

  8. -Group-agreed timeframes to support follow-through

  9. -Access to follow-up support via the Nyx Hotline (1:1 guidance)

  10. -Referrals to relevant organisations or services where needed

To Book:

What to Provide:
A meal or light refreshments from a full dinner to tea and biscuits, whatever feels right for your group.

Cost:

- $110 (per person min 5 ppl spend)

  • -$75 (for concession card holders or low income folks min 5 ppl spend)

  • -$10 travel per person if over 20 kms from Melbourne CBD

I’m offering an online version of The Final Course on April 22nd, 7–9pm via Zoom.

If you’ve been meaning to get your end-of-life and death care paperwork in order, this is a supportive, small-group space to begin. Together, we’ll gently work through key documents and conversations, so you can feel more prepared, informed, and at ease.

Places are very limited to keep the group intimate.
